Intro to Waterfowling for Women
« on: March 04, 2010, 09:18:42 AM »
Dear Outdoor enthusiasts,

We’d like to share this information of an upcoming outdoor event for women, 18 years and older: a one-day workshop-Introduction To Waterfowling. Our hope is that you’ll post this at your club, mention it in a meeting or include this news real soon in your publication, if the timing is right. The event is March 27th.  I am including a flyer and also a short paragraph synopsis.

Washington Outdoor Women program (WOW) is in its 13th year. It is an outreach education program of the Washington Wildlife Federation. It’s non-profit and all volunteer. WOW”s dedicated instructors encourage an informative, relaxed, non-competitive experience! All of WOW”s workshops are hands-on learning in relevant settings. This workshop event takes place at a private Hunt Club near Monroe, WA..

Thank you for helping us spread the word. Please don’t hesitate to call me if you need further information or you can visit WOW’s website at:

www.washingtonoutdoorwomen.org <http://www.washingtonoutdoorwomen.org/>

Paragraph for print or forwarding:

Washington Outdoor Women (WOW) offers a one day, hands-on Waterfowling Workshop March 27th . It includes setting decoys by hand or boat, calling, waterfowl ID, using a retriever in the field, shotgun patterning and clay targets and highlighting the necessary equipment for this traditional sport. Visit the WOW website at www.washingtonoutdoorwomen.org <http://www.washingtonoutdoorwomen.org/>  to download a registration form. Cost is $85. WOW is a non profit program of the Washington Wildlife Federation and partners with Ducks Unlimited for this event, for women 18 and above. The location is a private duck club in Monroe, WA.  Call 253-380-8966, 425-455-1986 or 360-445-3633 for more information.
