Got my Blacktail back!
«
on:
March 03, 2010, 09:34:20 PM »
I was expecting to get my antlers back on a plaque with the skull plate wrapped in leather. To my surprise, my dad was getting it mounted. The taxidermist (my dad's buddy) agreed it is one of those bucks that has to be put up on the wall. I found a good place for him!

Now that is definately a buck to have mounted instead of put on a plaque. One cool looking drop tine! Congrats, it looks awesome.

Dude that is awesome.
A double drop tine black tail. Man you would have to be completely messed up in the head if you didn't think it needed to be done up as a shoulder mount. Congrat's on a truely once in a lifetime, or possibly more then one lifetime, buck. That thing looks great.

A family friend who does the taxidermy on the side. He only does it for family and close friends as a hobby. I am very pleased, he did a great job and am very happy with his work.
