Muzzleload Kills!!
« on: February 04, 2008, 10:19:23 AM »
Lets start the new forum off with some muzzleloader kills. Any critter killed with a muzzleloader counts. Come on and post em up!!!

I'll start with a buck from 2006. Ritzville late permit.

We watched him for about an hour before I decided to put the hammer down. I knew the right side was messed up but only had a few days left to hunt.

And you all have seen this one of coarse last years Peaches ridge success ... Shot at 75 yards off hand! Two different cameras top pic is a Nikon and bottom is a Sony I wonder if it's the difference in camera's or settings?

Heres a mulie I got the 2nd year I hunted muzzleloader and a cow I killed a couple of years ago. Funny story about the elk, I got it near the edge of a lake. Took a 14' boat across a really big lake with the elk, me and hunting partner. We had about 5" of freeboard and got to the bank and there just happened to be a couple of guys there who helped get it in the truck whole   :chuckle: :chuckle: First elk I ever got home whole  :chuckle: :chuckle:

This 4X5 was taken on the West side in 2007, Had not seen any elk at all until the last morning of the late season.  Taken with a 50 cal Knight from about 70 yards.
