Ramslam, I have to admit that I am a bighorn neophyte but am quickly becoming enamored by these beautiful animals the more time I spend in the field watching them.  Is this raffle in conjunction with the WDFW raffle or is this a separate raffle pool?  Thanks in advance.

This permit is for a "Rocky Mtn Bighorn"; the state will be offering three other separate raffles for the "California Bighorn" sub-species.  WAFNAWS is marketing the "Rocky" tag on behalf of WDFW.  We sell the tickets and 90% goes back to WDFW--hopefully for sheep projects.  The physical drawing of the winner is pulled by WDFW personnel which will occur on July 7, 2010.  Thanks for the inquiry.

ALWAYS buy a ticket or two.  NEVER win. LOL    Money goes to a good cause at least I dream it does.  :)

Thanks for the quick reply Ramslam.  Here's a link to the wdfw raffle page, at the bottom they are showing a rocky mountian bighorn sheep raffle with the same GMU's as on the FNAWS flier.  http://wdfw.wa.gov/hunting/permits/raffles/raffle_opportunities.html  I am assuming this must be the FNAWS raffle and not a separate one.
