Not this year.  Maybe next year or the year after.

Ranger, his girlfriend, Myself and wife are all putting in.

Should be a fun trip, the wife will be on Midtour leave from Korea, so I really hope I can be a nice guy and give her the first shot, but never know

Question for you WY goat hunters...do you also get a deer tag when you go?  I am taking a week off to go to SW WY for the first time this year.  I'll be there around the end of September or first of October.  I have 2 points and should draw a goat tag, which is my primary objective.  But I'm questioning whether to spend the dough to get a deer tag as well, or spend my extra time (assuming I have some) fly fishing and driving around to see the country.  Part of me says get all the tags I can...part of me says the fly fishing will be a lot of fun, and will allow me to explore around more.  Is it so easy shooting goats in WY that you only need a day or two?  Or will I be spending four of my six hunting days chasing goats?  Just wondering what others do.   :dunno:

If your Trophy hunting, I suggest one tag only.  Sometimes the anxiety associated with having two unfilled tags in your pocket can mess with your whole hunt.  I would suggest Antelope only along with some fishing.  Then you could also spend some time scouting for future Deer hunting opportunities.... :twocents:

I'm just buying another point this year. I'll do this for another 4-5 yrs and then put in for the Red Desert units for trophy goats.
