Question for you WY goat hunters...do you also get a deer tag when you go? I am taking a week off to go to SW WY for the first time this year. I'll be there around the end of September or first of October. I have 2 points and should draw a goat tag, which is my primary objective. But I'm questioning whether to spend the dough to get a deer tag as well, or spend my extra time (assuming I have some) fly fishing and driving around to see the country. Part of me says get all the tags I can...part of me says the fly fishing will be a lot of fun, and will allow me to explore around more. Is it so easy shooting goats in WY that you only need a day or two? Or will I be spending four of my six hunting days chasing goats? Just wondering what others do.
