I just bought a couple 4.0GB SanDisk Extreme III and I thought I would give them a go this mourning!!! The shots were hand held with the 300mm IS and the extender as the Sheep were exiting stage left!!!  :'(

Wow, that's a really nice cali ram.  Nice sharp photos for hand held.  300mm x 1.4 x 1.6 = 672 mm at f5.6 hand held!.  Gotta love that.

2 Sandisk 4gb cards, that should give you around 1000 photos or so in raw...  How's that camera and lens treating you?
