I hope most ranch and farmer give them some HAY to deer!  :dunno:
We have been buying AlfAlfa every week for Deer. We have about 8 Blacktail deer coming in our pasture every night.

We'll I haven't quite figured out how to get pics on flickr to show up so...
I'll post the link from our annual Presidents day winter cabin trip fiasco.  My brother took these shots, and I'm not in any except for the one where I'm on the roof shoveling it off!  I would say about 8' on the roof!  This is near Stampede Pass

You wanna see snow!!!??? You wanna see snow!!!??? I'll show you snow!!!

This is the amount of snow it takes to shut down the North Thurston School District, Jan 2008. The school district was absolutely paralyzed. No schoool for anyone, too damn dangerous!  Kids love it! Teachers love it! I hate it!

I dont mean to hijack the thread here, but since I already have for myself; It really pisses me off that the *censored* school administrators shut things down. There excuse is because their are some routes in the district that are pretty "hairy".  Ya know what...? Who cares?! I remember as a kid, we used to have snow routes. School was open, just on snow routes, folks living on the steep hills had to get their kids to the bottom of the hill.

Instead, today they shut the damn schools down, diregarding the importance of parents getting to work. Parents now must use annual leave cause some idiot school district employee made a piss poor decision. "It's too dangerous, someone might get hurt".  :'(    How much do you want to bet that there are more kids getting hurt at home and on the streets sledding into cars on school closure days than if they just kept school open and Fing taught our kids something.  Instead, they teach the kids that school isn't that important, we can cancel it for just about anything, even a quarter inch of snow which will melt by 9am.

I really really really don't like the teachers and admin in my school district!!!  >:(

i agree iceman, i was in the olympia school district and every year we would have a handful of days off just for ice or a 1/4" of slush...stupid because they tack it on at the end of the year so you dont get out till the end of june.
