Bobcat rug ( Charlies Taxidermy)
« on: March 09, 2010, 07:19:19 PM »
I almost forgot about posting this guy up. I was looking for some close ups of a life size I did and found these. This was done in mid february. This is the third bobcat rug that I have done and the first closed mouth bobcat rug at that. I think I prefer them with the closed mouth.

This rug is done in house and is all machine and hand sewn for those who want to know.

To be honest, I think that is the first I've ever seen with a closed mouth and I have to agree with you.  I think i prefer the closed mouth look.  Beautiful rug!

Great job!  I like the closed mouth too.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

Hey Charlie -- got a question for ya....

Why the felt on all the rugs?  Seems to me it might look better without the felt showing.

Must be a reason?

Great job, Charlie!  Sure love the colors on that cat and the fact that it's got no red!

The felt is a dress up thing . It looks way nicer than just a hide hanging on the wall. Legs would look like sticks. Its just a nicer presentation to a furry critter.

Thanks MtnMuley  ;)
