Thank you.

It's all yew laminations with fiberglass added on the belly and back.. There are some Thunderbird models  I have seen turned out with Ipe using Black or Brown glass on the belly and back which looked good too. I have not even shot this bow yet. Never shot a recurve (not that I can remember anyway). Hopefully I can get around to it this week.

No, it's not an original Thunderbird (circa 1953-54). It is a 2nd Generation model which Jay made.

Nice looking bow. Great lines.  I love Yew and how it looks under clear glass. have two yew long bows
