Up in the Snow!
« on: March 10, 2010, 07:28:38 PM »
Well here is a few pics from today out in the mountains with my cousin. The last 2 days the snow level has droped to just above my place.
Hunting and Fishing is not what I do. But who I am...

gumbos are the ultimate mountain/snow tire in my opinion they are hard to find because they aren't made anymore but for a set with about 90% tread on them they sell at about $2500+. They are a 2 ply tire and are the best loafing tire around. The best for toyotas, jeeps, any light rig set up to go through deep snow.

Yeah don't like the mickey thompsons at all. Although they did work great in the snow. As it has been mentioned to me. I want to let everyone know, that those weren't creek beds, just rather large puddles. Remember driving thru creek beds is Illegal. Just something to think about when your in the woods. My yota does awesome an we had some hairy areas above the puddles where the road was all rutted outed, but we made it up an back down, was alot of fun. Here are some pics before going thru.
