I got a younger brother that lives down around Vador and he informs me that all the guys in Lewis county carry an extra pair just for that purpose. He says that the use of a "camo" glove is rare cause of the high expense involved and that the glove of choice is those little brown jersey gloves. He claims the brown ones are not only cheap but sometimes can be bought in a bunch at the the hardware store.  Carrying a bunch comes in handy for when the little woman needs to go and forgets her pair. Brown is also an color ideal for obvious reasons. As to the face mask, he doubts that came from any of his friends from Lewis county cause most Lewis county locals prefer to just not wash their faces for a couple weeks prior to the turkey hunt and simply go ala-natural. But the bottom line here is that don't expect to find any single gloves just laying around on the ground anywhere in Lewis county unless it's pretty well wore out and to stiff to use.

I wear a cheap old long sleeve T shirt as a base layer...you know how long one lasts take just what you need until it falls off....and then when that's gone it's time to head for home :P After toiday's scouting trip I'm down a half a sleeve :chuckle:

When dating the wife she made the mistake of asking why all my feinds were running around with one sleeved shirts. :yike:

I carry a half roll in a zip lock bag now.  But I do have plenty of long sleeve shirts that have been converted to sleeveless over the years!
