Super buck!  I believe I ran in to that guy a few years back in that area.  Seemed to me to have put in his time, and had found a few thumper sheds also.

I just got my Idaho Whitetail only tag in the mail last week. I plan on going over to the north part the week before Thanksgiving. That buck just got the blood pumping. I can't flippin wait. Any word on the winter kill in the northern part???

How northern?  I am in Spirit Lake and there has basically been no snow on the ground all year...  Looking into the mountains there is not much either besides on the tops.  I think the snow level is around the 3000 mark maybe a bit higher...

That was my thought!!!! hahaha  Just sent him a text about it!  I mean I get all sorts of interesting texts from the guy and BS with him every thursday damn near at the plant and he never mentioned that buck!  Lucky *censored* that he is... :chuckle:

I'm heading to the Priest River area. I hunted it about ten years ago. We had a lot of fun and I ate tag soup. I was just waiting for the big one and it didn't happen. I'm glad the snow has been mild. It will be fun regardless! :)
