I fished the mouth of the skook a couple weeks ago and it seemed to be pretty hot. We hooked 1 in a 2 hour period but I saw 4 or 5 caught in that same 2 hour period. This rain were having may bring em in,  hopefully!! Keep tryen they should be there.
To God alone be the Glory!!

i drove up to the dam yesterday because i was in the area.  kind of sad, watching a whole bunch of guys fishing in the mud puddles up that way.  there weren't any cars parked before the cable crossing, so i decided to take a walk down to the big claybank hole in the fields.  i was heading past the corner above it and spotted 2 guys at about 1/4 mile away, they see me and start jogging towards me!  i get down to the spot, set up my rod and have time to make one cast before these *censored*s pop out of the bushes and set up 10 feet downriver of me.

i got the hell out of there, wasn't worth getting in a fight in that mudhole.

it was, i didn't really fish it until '99 or so, but even 4 or 5 years ago you could go down there on a weekday and not see more than a handful of people fishing.

Hit it up yesterday and it was pretty calm. Only a few guys fishing but mostly keeping to themselves. Saw two roll but came home empty handed. That's ok though got the line wet and spent some time to myself. Nice day for being on the water.
Some animals WERE harmed in the making of this Hunter. They were also dragged through the dirt, butchered and tasted delicious fried with butter and bacon.
