Sorry I didnt hold my breath. I had a lot to do around my house before my wife come home from McCall Idaho wedding weekend for her best frined. So I end up left my house to hunt with permitte and Bearpaw's son and all animals on our rancher end up wondering where I am!

So I dont want my wife to  :spank_butt: me when she get home and nothing got done!

Thursday night, I got sick really coughing soo bad BAD and I cant stand breath outside with cold and coughing so friday morning I called sick stay home rest all day. My wife left Thursday to McCall Id. She texted me said there is some snow and I could have went down with her and hunt on my Idaho Special Permit. But I didnt expect I were sick friday could have go.

Morning Called Bucklucky to see if I could STEAL him to go chase pursuit on his permit. But He cant go cuz some thing important coming up. So I had to figure what to do for my weekend!

So Bearpaw said his son and the Permittee Cindy were out scouting all day  and no luck. So I thought at first. ohh.. She have permittee!  SO I asked if I could come and help scouting for Cut or do some working on catch Cat.

So he found out Permittee have lots people working together find Cats So I say cool... So I end up stay home and my cell doesnt work up here where I live.

Thursday night, He texted me said your welcome to come but I didnt get the message until next day on friday at 11am.  :'(  I would have COME if I got message from him on Thursday evening. Dang... So Friday day My day went by boring... Wish I am looking for Cut and being out in Wood.

Later afternoon, Found out that permittee and His son doesnt find any luck. But have NEW snow I think 2" or 1" ?? and it rainny melted most of it not all.

So I watched the Weather Local and watch how it changing every hours so I offer him that I will be happy to come out before saturday morning to help scouting and work on find Cat.

After I feed my dogs and past 4pm thinking and thinking what HECK wrong with me... No one in our house and totally BORED SO What Heck! I am leaving!

 :yike:

I gotta go do my house work before my wife come home!

To be countiune...

Left My house at 4pm. Driving over pass SMOOTH! No snow on road. Just snowing and white on trees. passed Easton FADING no snow whole way over to Blewette pass and it has some snow on hills. Contiune driving thur Washington to Ok/kett county By time I drove by Omak. I was driving just fine appox night at like 8ish I Noticed something over there appox half mile from me coming stright to me. Police on light flash chase a Suspect Hwy Chase. Soon I saw suspect driving on WRONG WAY DIRECTLY TO ME! I pulled over on shoulder reducing speed and Suspect still stubborn pulling in to Whiteline where I am going stop let them pass me but they are conming STRIGHT to my head of truck appox 100 mph so I pulled down to Ditch!  :bash:  I wanna BEAT THIS KID SOO BAD with BAT!!!!  Gosh Why the fking people doesnt give any RESPECT to let people live not looking for something to kill someone on road. I was trying to save my life from head to head crash. I got off ditch and they passed two cars behind me really close crashed and Police finally got him stop by push him off the road what I see suspect light circle!  :chuckle:  Whoa...  Almost kill me!

I work on getting out of ditch and got on road! It start RAINNY RAINNY past omak!  I said to myself No.... I dont want to hear RAINNY all day!

Going to my frined in Danville house but Couldnt get hold of him since I am bring Hounds and Dogger sled. I dont have Blue Card from permittee for me carry to keep Gamedept not bugging me!

No luck so I decide to park Sled with hounds inside by his area. Doesnt want to bother them while they are sleeping. If Gamedept came to me and say What ya doing here with dogs do you have permittee with you? Because last time I went up and guy got stopped by Gammie the cubby fat Gamedept want to give him TICKET for scouting cougar with out permittee with him!  :yike:  What a FREAK Gamedept!

So I learn from what I saw. So I dont want to see him NAGGGING at me for not having Permittee with me. Only thing I cant say I am hunting FOX!  :chuckle:  Okanagon County are CLOSED! So Only thing I can say I am hunting COONS!  :dunno:  Well I dont want to deal with them anything. So I left my dogs and sled at guy house.  Went sleep until 3am

Saw Lots Whitetails crossing road where all Dry grounds. So I went higher to summit little west... I drove thur and forget to bring snowchain. SO I parked and take snowmobile start to scouting at 3am thur whole Canyon. First Canyon. start from 4 inches upper to half way 9 inches then TOP 2 FT! POWDER!  :yike: I had BLAST TIME playing in Snow not about Cat hunting! :dunno:

No Cuts whole Canyon spend about 20 miles on this Canyon with snowmoblie working harder thur awfully manys alley trails cover to find Cut for Cindy, Came back down after light!   FUN playing in Snow!

going NEXT Canyon

To be Contiune!

Okay Next Canyon, We got in and dont want to drive my truck all way and possible stuck or log blocked, Or water damage road so I decide to unload snowmobile soon I take off I spotted One day Old Track Single Cougar right next to my truck. Bucklucky If we left Friday we would have TREED this one!   :chuckle:  Dang  one day old So I called Bearpaw told them I found OLD Cut so it will be somewhere in this CY. He told me that His son is still no Luck on find Cat on East and I am working on West. Anyway...

So I head out higher and it only 2"snow around 8ish am. Find Fresh Moose Cut, Deer, Coyote. Must be some activate area here. So I run upper 2 miles Cut 2nd Cat. I believe same Cat that I found at the parking.  it still old and I dont have dogs to smell it. I must have permittee to be with me to put my dogs or bearpaw son's so I dont think its worth trying so Skipping it and keep look WHOLE Canyon for this same Cat. No Luck. Must be sleeping next to DEAD MOOSE or Deer!  :'(

Calling Bearpaw say No Luck Only two Cuts same Cat I believe. So one OLD Trax.

Off to next Canyon.

To be Contiune.

Next Cayon, Went upper higher 6 miles No Luck! Calling Bearpaw Any luck with Son? NO luck! So I went next Canyon and went 3 miles on Snowmobile VERY SLICE of snow! Warm getting WARMER! from 25 to 40 degree all sudden.  So I had to hurry and working looking for Cut.

Found Bear! One hour or two old Trax. Must woke up first day of the spring! :yike:  At first I thought it was Cougar Trax!    Wish It were in Idaho, I would TURN LOOSE!  :chuckle:

Anyway skip it and 2 miles later Found FOUR COUGARS!  dang one day old... Wish I were here yesterday because I would have GREAT pics of Three kittens and mother up Tree!  :bash:

So I stay totally for a hour CIRCLE whole Canyon find them. No  luck because snow getting thinner to nothing on ground. All dryground down hill.

Should have bring Truck with Strike rigg and put hound top Problem is If those dogs strike off on Bear in area how will we know it was Cougar or Bear!  :yike: Not good idea... I must have PERMITTEE with me or have them come over but They are going scouting the LAST Canyon and Call it off!

So I went back down get going to 2nd Canyon and start all OVER again.

I aint giving up!  ;)

Part of Hound hunting is NOT ALWAYS easy. Its Very hard most of time. Sometime it soo perfect will go wrong or right. Nothing will never be PERFECT hunt.

Went back 2nd Cy and run upper seem same and some deer moving. Moose crossed me!  :) Couldnt get picture by time they got away. No luck. Calling Bearpaw, They have no Luck on any Cuts and nothing. So they call it off! heading home.

So I went back 3rd Cy start OVER again. Run up Cy being frustrate little!

Tell u something about how I feel.  First of all I know this Cougar hunting is not ALWAYS FUN but Fun to be in Wood and try to work on find it with dogs. LOTS PATIENTS PATIENTS!!!  Law is very  hard for us in Washington with all Strict rules... So I am trying best to stay stright and do right things. Its hard when u see any Bear, Bob, whatever on road.    Have to try stay rule.
And I am offering myself to help Cindy on her Tag. I would love to help Steve, and if Bucklucky invited me I would love to go. Any time of hunting I am HERE to willing go.
Cost of hunting expense is really EXPENSIVE EVEN not my tag! It cost me almost $220 dollar on trip gas and snowmobile gas, I know I know....... But what would I do every weekend staying home being big baby and feed my dogs everyday and clean poop and training my dogs over nothing. I am very grateful to have oppourity to help Cindy out looking for Cat and use my dogs that I love the MOST being houndman.

I could have went to Idaho more often but TWICE MORE expensive than Cindy and No Wolves around where I went yesterday. I rather this than Idaho sometime.

3rd Cayon, Went upper 2 miles GUESS WHAT!  BINGO!  :yike:  Less than 1 hour CUT that crossed my Snowmobile track from first round!

 :)

Head back to my truck It getting WARMER FAST almost hit 45 degree to 50 appox 1130am  Calling Bearpaw.  GAME IS ON! Bring your permittee and your son and snowmobile! Gave them direction where I am local.

I went back pick up dogs and sled bring it over meet them at park lot. I waitted 80 min It getting WARMER and Dripping dripping BAD and FAST One hour half later finally they arrival.

Track is appox Smallest Tom OR Big Female ???  I am going to see what Bearpaw and Mulehunter can do to treed it for Cindy the permittee. Lets TURN LOOSE!

To be Contiune!
