Nothing wrong with a rug. I went rug on my first one and I'm very pleased with it. Michelle did a great job. I went rug because it was a representative female, not a big Tom, and it was pretty durn beat up. Not just from my shooting, but scars all over from fighting.

I'm having Charlie tan my second one. Another average mature female, but it's a gorgeous hide, beautiful color, no scars, tiny bullet hole, etc. Saving it whole so I can full body mount it someday if I want to.

Don't besmirch the rug 'til you've seen a few, they're a beautiful trophy!

My rug is one of my favorite mounts.   I actually like it better than most full mounts.  Same with my big bear.

sorry rainshadow and bone, just a difference of opinion... :)

doublecut, becoming a sponsor is definitely worth it, you can post in the sponsor section, as boneaddict said, it's a good deal. Another thing you do, you can put a link on the bottom of your posts by going to profile area, play around there, you will figure it out.

mulehunter, my apologies for getting so far off topic... ;)

Nice work :)
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
