See any bears this year?

A friend of mine is going on a res hunt in august. His contact their just told him that there have been bears at the bait for three weeks. Anyone else seeing any bears yet?

i personally would never hunt with a washington reservation seeing what they do to all the fish and wildlife
everyone goes by this country everyone is created equal, so why do they get such rediculus rights like being able to bait

I don't have a problem with them baiting as long as it is on their reservations. I feel they should be able to do what they want, just keep it on the reservations. However I would have a problem supporting the indians by paying for a guided hunt.

I went out yesterday to all the grass patches that the bears like and didnt find anything!  No tracks, scat, or nothin!   Should be any day now as the grass is growing like crazy!  Should be a good year for those that draw spring bear permits!     I hope the results come out soon.

I found some bear pelosi in the woods two weeks ago.  It was a large pile of pelosi too.

havent seen a bear,a track or poop.....Im in almost everyday...april 15th people will start seeing 29 a day :rolleyes:

Thanks Hogsniper, I may take you up on that.  Went out to the DNR area East of Sierra Pacific Saturday-nada but it was better than sitting on the couch at home eh?  Got a few pictures of rubs, old peeled trees & that's about all.  Skunk cabbage is definately sprout'in & so am I!!!!
