My Humming Birds
« on: March 17, 2010, 07:58:55 PM »
Well, I am far from being as good as most of you on here in regards to photography, but I am learning. I have some expensive camera with 2 fancy lenses that confuse the heck out of me. Anyhow.....here are a couple pics from tonight at my humming bird feeder. I sure like these little guys.

As usual, I am open to the Critic’s.....

Man!  The hummers I get around here don't perch on anything! IF, they come to the feeder, it's for a quick sip and they're off before you know they were there.

Mine have been around for about 2 1/2 weeks now. Hard to keep track of them, but right at dark they are all on the feeders. Counted 14 of them last night.

Here are a few more pics just for you Runamuk.

I have them all winter at my house.  You just have to keep feeding them.  The Rufous leave for the winter and are just starting to show up.  The Annas will stick around all winter.  I believe I had some Black Chins over the winter this year too.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

really cool......love the little buzzards.  Mine are around all winter and I do not feed but they seem to appear every time it gets nice out then are full time bombers once the flowers start blooming.
