Best hunts of 09-10 season
« on: March 15, 2010, 06:04:39 PM »
Okay, I hardly ever get on here but I'm bored so how about best hunts of the season????

Here's my favorites of the season, it was a really tough season in my area, the birds did'nt come in and when they did they did'nt stay long, but I did end up killing 301 dux myself and 4 bands 8)  although I hunted every chance I got..........95% public land

decided to shoot all teal

How do you get the necks to all hang down nice and pretty like that?  By the end of the hunt my birds are usually all rigor mortised up in strange shapes or looking pretty grizzly with their necks wrung.

You have to get them back to the truck asap, or shoot your limits quick.
100% public

And to "lighten up the loffers" a tav limit.

I ended the season strong but had to travel for mine, one day I will Wackers 300 plus but this year I ended with 205, last duck was a Bull Can!

here's our best number day ever from last week on a spring snow hunt- 57 in the morning and 61 total for the day.  And we weren't using the sled to make it look like there was more, it just helped elevate them so you could see 'em better
