I heard they won't post bear results until they've confirmed the changes to eight pools for deer and elk permits are complete and tested :o :yike:

(I didn't really hear that, but you do have to wonder, don't you?)

On one of the other spring bear results :bash: :bash: threads I heard someone say that they probably won't post the results of the draws until they have hashed out all of the unit boundaries.  That makes sense.
If I were WDFW, I probably wouldn't either.
Waiting to draw = mildly irritating-and we're used to it. >:(
Finding out you drew, then scouting an area that turns out to not be open for your tag = some PISSED OFF DUDES :mgun:

I'll bet that's what they're waiting for.  :twocents:

I am pretty sure they already had the boudaries set when they decided to change the hunt (from CF to Lincoln)
I expect that "the backdoor" will have some changes around 3:00 this afternoon.......

I doubt it and if they did then they didn't share that info with those that asked for it.

I called for it twice last year and I know I wasn't the only one.

Once just before permits were due. I was told that they did not have that info available yet.

And again in September I was told that they did not know who all (private timber companies) was going to participate so they couldn't possibly have boundaries.
