Tried out the new Nosler bullets.....amazing
« on: March 21, 2010, 05:06:27 PM »
I tried out the new Nosler 40gr Lead Free Varmint rounds yesterday. I was truly amazed at what damage a 40gr bullet can do to a 3/16th inch piece of steel. We were not shooting for groups, so comments needed there. I will report on grouping later.

See the Nosler sight for the low down on these rounds

Nice KB.  That may be the bullet of the future.  Now, what will one do in ballistic gel???
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

What was the range?

Bear, I believe the picture lower down on the link is showing the results in ballistic gel.

They are hard to find right now, don't pass them up if you see them on the shelf

Right now they are only available in .22 at 35 & 40 grains.  .204 and .243 are coming soon

I was shooting an .223 AR
