How do they figure out the spread credit when scoring mule deer? I see you measure 3 different places on width. You only get one measurement If I see it correct. So how do they get that measurement?

Inside main beams. That equals x. If that is equal to or less than what the main beams are themselves, you get the whole credit. If not, so you have a 32 inch inside and the mains are 28, you only get 28.

Total width means nothing in regards to score and neither does tip to tip.

and if your inside is 28 and you have a mainbeam of 32, do you get the 28 or the 32? Sounds like you get the 28 in the reverse example also, is that right?
