Quit picking on the guy. Machine that is a nice bear. It reminds me of the button buck my brother shot in Michigan and we packed it home in the glove box. :chuckle:

I shot a bear about that size a few years ago well maybe not that small.  good shooting any bear isa good bear.

Been there, done that on the smaller bear. I would do it again. Small bear is better than no bear. Yum.

My first solo bear at age 13 was that size.  I had no idea that it was that size, and that was at 70 yards.  Course, being my first solo bear, and at that age, I would have taken it none the less.  It takes some time and more than a couple kills to really be able to estimate their weight.

hims just a widdle guy. nice bear though. good looking coat on him and nice shootin. you shoulda tube skinned him and made a hoodie. and i agree. any filled bear tag is a good bear. i shot one in 09 that was about 225. he was huge as far as im concerned, until a guy pulled into the meat locker with what must have been a 600 pounder. it was a monster bear, took up the whole bed of his truck. congrats. those long shots are fun. did you see the vapor trail.
