Dang Rougheye.  I'm glad you got to see him.  If I'd have had a unnotched tag in my pocket I'd have taken him crab claw or not just for his mass and probable age.  Nice antler.  Do you think someone found the match, or jsut haven't located it yet.  I know that area gets hammered.

Thats cool you can tell the area probably by the horn formation.Alot of them look like that up there.  I think somebody found the other one because i went in Feb,and there was snowshoe tracks about 200 yds away. Yea, I would love to shoot something like that someday,I dont mind crab-clawes either.

I didnt shoot it that close to the road,we just dragged it there to get a picture out of the sun.
