These young hunters that shoot a big buck for their first buck are potentially setting themselves up for dissapointment down the road, its hard to top bucks like that.  One of my first bucks was a nice 26.5" 4 point, i've yet to top that.

Here is an antler I walked by several years in a row.  It was always under a snowbank.  Finally in a dought year, I walked through and there it was.  I would have loved to have found this one brown, or seen him on the hoof.
