Finished him up.  For whatever reason, his cape was thrashed.  I gues I figured freezer burn, then he had been fighting and then I was a little knife happy, then it was warm and he slipped a bit.  Oh well.  Finished him u goood enough for me...

hmmmmm still can't find it, but here are two of my favorites that fit this category.  The first one has stimulated MANY shed antler hunts.  If you note the discoloration, the antelr was buried except for the exposed white.  I looked down and picked it up and it just kept coming.  I so long to find a brown antler just like this one.  What an animal!

This antler was my first 5 point.  It also has stimulated alot of hunts or dreams of big 5 points.

Alright what gives? Anybody else on here think Bones got a high fence in the backyard with about a dozen genetically altered bucks that only produce 5 points? I can't believe how lucky this *censored* is, :chuckle: that's all he shoots and that's all he finds is 5's.  :lol4:

Well done Bone, talk about the Green Monster of Jealousy!!! :ass:

I told you from the beginning before we started this thread that I seemed to have an affinity for 5 points.  I think its the PERFECT deer.   Probably started with those last two (not counting the desert 6) old sheds.  Man those things have stimulated alot of dyadreams or nightmares.  I have always wanted to kill a buck like that last big 5.  I've come close a coupel times, but still after it.  Maybe Montana this year.  That photoshop does come in pretty handy.  I have both programs from them.  I use the simple one for most of my stuff for re-sizing etc, then if I click on a RAW image, it automatically bridges me to the CS2.   Works great.
Someday you guys can all come over for a get together and get your hands on a few of these bones.  Pictures DO NOT do them justice.

I wouldn't mine seeing this guy again this year.  He's probably big enough to shoot this year, though he is not in the same area I would normally hunt during the opener.  He might be worth pursueing though.  Providing some lion didn't eat his ass.   I haven't found his sheds yet though.  Has cost me alot of gas.
