Great pics and story. I can't believe that you had to work that hard for a 180 buck, I heard they are all over in the Entiat.

Not far from your folks....I'm over in the lakes, you know the old sod farm with the irrigation ponds that they now call "The Lakes". Gotta love the eastside of the mountains!
Your welcome to stop by and have a cold one.....

Great story Drue!! It makes it all that much better when you truly earn the buck. Brett has spoken highly of that hunt. Congrats and you never know you might be fortunate again to draw the tag. Keep trying!!

Thanks Skyvalhunter....I'm putting the majority of my money towards the sheep raffle, but I still have to buy that one raffle ticket for deer. If I should happen to draw it again, I'll make Brett bring you along to help pack it out.

If he draws the deer raffle again, I think I would personally come down and shake his hand....after I beat him with a 2x4.

Well Drue count me in on that one. I volunteered and packed out 2 dall sheep before getting mine. So whenever you need another set of eyes and strong back let me know.

Here are a couple of pics from the taxidermist of the buck on his wall. He's finishing up the pedestal with a tree and some habitat. I'll post some better pics when I get it home and it's all put together.
