I heard they won't post bear results until they've confirmed the changes to eight pools for deer and elk permits are complete and tested

On one of the other spring bear results threads I heard someone say that they probably won't post the results of the draws until they have hashed out all of the unit boundaries.  That makes sense.
If I were WDFW, I probably wouldn't either.
Waiting to draw = mildly irritating-and we're used to it.
Finding out you drew, then scouting an area that turns out to not be open for your tag = some PISSED OFF DUDES

I'll bet that's what they're waiting for.

I am pretty sure they already had the boudaries set when they decided to change the hunt (from CF to Lincoln)
I expect that "the backdoor" will have some changes around 3:00 this afternoon.......

I doubt it and if they did then they didn't share that info with those that asked for it.

I called for it twice last year and I know I wasn't the only one.

Once just before permits were due. I was told that they did not have that info available yet.

And again in September I was told that they did not know who all (private timber companies) was going to participate so they couldn't possibly have boundaries.
