I've heard nothing but great things about their outfit.  Weather looked great too!

hey so i have noticed that alot of people on here have been going to cooke canyon and i did some research and found another game bird ranch over in ellensburg with a little better prices.  i have never gone to them before or heard anything about them so i dont know if they are as good as cooke canyon.  i have been to cooke canyon a few times and have had a great time every time i have gone but for training my pup i would rather pay a little less and get some more birds.  the name of the ranch is whiskey dick ranch.

Any insight on area 3 I've never hunted it?   I'm headed up tomorrow for the afternoon.  I'm going to get my pup some birds and break in my new Ugartechea.

I went out to get my pup over some birds and play with my new sxs's.  It was a great day my shooting sucked.  We saw a good number of bird and Doug and Alice were a pleasure to speak with as always.  Especially Alice, she is really nice and understands client service!  The dog loved it and I see additional things to work on.  My only rub was I had the hunters from area 4 cross over and work through about 1/2 of my area (3).  To make is worse we flushed two birds walking towards them to discuss.

If they hadn't had a kid with them I would have given them a little more of my opinion, as at least one of them knew he was wrong.  They also missed a great opportunity in front of the kid to say "sorry, we messed up" but they missed it.   But, bottom line the dog and I had fun.
