Everyone makes kapowsin sound like a great hunt, it would be nice to see some photos of kapowsin bear success.

8-12 would be about right for 150 permits, but I don't think I have ever heard of more then a couple every year.

rasbo, you and i both know its a terrible place to hunt.everyone should  quit wasting there time by applying there    ridgerunner you will have a great time,and  see alot of bear .

Road hunting is nice makes for a easy pack.

I drew in 08' and shot an old boar on my 23rd day, May28th- squared 6 3 1/2 est 350+. Never did see another harvest report card in the box. Bring a good pair of boots and maybe a video cam so you can film the elk. Lots of area and a beautiful place to hunt. Enjoy!  I'll try and post a pic of my bear.

last year the spring hunters took 13 out of 100 permits.

Where did you get that info? The latest information I can find on spring bear permits is from 2007.
