Have you guys seen this?  What are your thoughts, good invention or new gimmick to separate you from your money?

Looks cool. I'll wait untill I read some reviews before I buy it.

Looks pretty gimicky.  Exposed circuit board?  Can't tell from the pic how the sensor reads the wind.  Dead battery?  Now what?  Drop it from your tree stand and see which way it falls?  I can think of a lot of other things to spend $$ on.  Just my  :twocents:

Looks like it would work well, but so does the smoke in a bottle.. and I am guessing it is alot cheaper.  Like what lokidog said, it looks like it could run out of batteries or break easier, and there are certainly other things I much rather spend my money on.   :twocents:

this looks like the "idiot light" for telling you when to shift gears that was so popular in the 1980's cars....  :chuckle: :chuckle:

If you want to know the wind direction... drop a blade of grass or two.... or some pine needles,  or check your breath if its cold enough....

sorry a little too gimmicky for my tastes... (and I work in electronics...)

Definitely the latter.  Bout as foolish a product that I've seen in a long time IMHO.  Powder puffs are hard to beat cuz you can see the swirls and shifts 10-20 ft away from you.

Next they'll be inventing a gadget that points N or sumthin.... wait that might actually be useful.   :chuckle:
