spring snows
« on: March 29, 2010, 11:51:41 PM »
Did anyone else get a chance to go on a spring snow hunt?  If you did, what state did you go to and how did you do?  We went to South Dakota and hunted for three days and it was a blast.  Here is some pics, but I already posted one on a different thread, sorry for the repeat

yeah the weather was good everyday but the last.  It froze on the last morning, freezing the sillosock decoys shut, then the wind blew out of the northwest which puts us facing right into the sun, or at least in the general direction, which destroys video quality.  Most of the time it was partly to mostly cloudy, with a stiff breeze, which turns out is perfect for that hunt.  It did get sunny on the second day long enough to get those photos, so we couldn't have asked for a better trip.  If anyone wants to go with the guide we went through, PM us and we'll tell you who it is.  We paid for the hunt, no video discounts, and I can tell you it was worth every penny.  Very reasonably priced, a filet minon hunt on a hamburger budget

their faces are cleaner too. as I understand it, they get the orange faces from the algae and whatnot they eat up here?
