What broke?  Is this a common problem, my brother bought one about a year ago.  As far as I know he hasn't had problems with his yet.

CAN DISCHARGE BEFORE THE SLIDE IS LOCKED, ALSO FAILS TO EXTRACT, guess its a common problem, wish i googled before i bought it, figured with so many being turned in, i'd wait abit until remington comes up with a correct fix.

I think it's a disgrace that an outfit like Remington would flood the market with these P O S guns. Sorry about all your problems Gearhead. That would really tick me off. I have too long of a memory fo stuff like that and tend to hold a grudge.  Nikon  :pee:

I wouldn't wait...send it in now.

One of my friends bought one for his son. We went out and tried it. Gun did not like 3" or 3-12" shells. Would jam and would not open. Had to dismantle gun to get the empty hul removed. He sent it back to Remiington and they fixed it. They said it had a burr in the chamber. If you are having problems with it call Remington and let them know of your problem. They will send you a RGA tag then send it off UPS. Remington will take care of the shipping charge.
Nothing like a Remington model 700xcr.
