Set up the B 5.0 yesterday

Don't really like the idea of leaving $200 on a tree, but did anyway.
Overlooks a huge rub that I don't expect to get much action for a few months, I just hope that buck walks past it now and then so I can monitor his growth and just see how big he really is.
First Tcam, already wish I had more than one.

I'm having lots of fun with mine. The Bushnell 5.0 works great. Next $200 will be on another.

On sale at Natchez for only $130!
Anyway, let it sit watching that rub for a few days and nothing passed by. Wasn't really expecting anything to, just hoping. Moved it to a better spot, few days, nothing. Switched cards and let it sit about a week. Came back and zero photos had been taken. Camera didn't like that card. Put a salt lick in front of it, has been sitting almost a week now. Think I'll give it a few more days and see. I want a first pic of something!

After a few setbacks and zero pics, I went up today, after one week to find 50+ images. Knew there had to be something there this time
Had 55 photos, eight were of deer, the rest of that one elk. First pic was two days after I set it. Had decided if there was nothing on it I'd move it, but think I'll let it sit two weeks this time and see what it has.

Let it sit five days, impatient I know, and nothing was on it. Pulled it from where it was and was going to place it near the other salt lick I put out, only when I got there it was gone. Looked around the area, nope... gone. Kind of a high traffic area (for the woods at least) for people and passed one guy going in, while he was coming out of the area. Don't know if he, or someone else, took it, but really? Stealing my salt lick??? Didn't set the camera out, didn't want that disappearing too.

Maybe a bear packed it off. Looks like a small salt lick.
Those pics look allot like the erea I set my cams in and we live near each other.
I had 2 stolen in December. Be carefule and get a box for them.
Good luck with the trail cam addiction.
