Not enough photos this month for a vote?  :dunno: Meh, come on fellas, we need more participation.

THere was a vote, and there was even less participation in that.   This month, its probably going to go back to the admins and moderators to decide, until more people take interest. If this keeps up, we may even discontinue the whole thing.  I supposedly won this month with a whopping 3 votes total.  By the way, I voted for your pic!

Is there an easy way to send out a reminder to vote?  Maybe put a link on the main page the last week of the month?  Also this month might have been a bit tough in terms of subject matter.  It is difficult for people to get out and shed hunt let alone find one and have the camera along.  Don't give up on it yet!

I hear you guys.   This is the weakest time of year mostly because its spring and there is a lot going on.  We'll just monitor it.  I hope it stays alive.  I love the photos people post.

Oh well, I'll post it anyway, even though it's too late for the contest.  I love this pic.  ATL from my Montana deer hunt last Nov....

Pathfinder, unfortunately I'll have to be completely honest with you, and I hope I don't come across as rude...but that really is a GREAT PHOTO! Nice find and even nicer capture.

I didn't throw out my vote because I was waiting to see that the poll had been posted on here. This is probably mostly my own retarded fault for not thinking to check where it SHOULD be under the "Polls" category. I certainly appreciate your vote and would like to see this thread getting voted on by more of the membership OTHER than just the entrants. I mean this forum has TONS a members, would it a difficult thing to do to send out a couple of monthly "newsletter" type mass PM's that let others know there is this great contest going on? I am willing to bet, IMO, that because this thread is found under the "Photography" section that there are a great deal of members that do not even know of it's existence, but would love to see the entries for the month and vote on them.

I have served as admin for other sites and wouldn't mind volunteering my time in this type of capacity.  :)
