My kid uses his trusty browning bps in 20 gauge.....its his duck gun and his only gun at this point.  He wants a remington turkey gun but he is a lefty so he is a bit limited.

My oldest son hunted succesfully yesterday with an 11-87 Remmy 12 slug gun-smooth bore, rifle sights, my youngest son with a Youth 870 20 Undertaker choke. During the regular season, my oldest son will be using my Remmy 870 Special Field 12, with a 21" heavy barrel. Gonna have to get my oldest son a 2nd tag! Man that kid costs me money! ;)

My kids use a Mossberg 500 12ga with an ATI colaspable stock and a slip on Limbsaver recoil pad.  I asked my son after he shot his turkey on saturday how the recoil was, he said he didnt feel a thing    ;)

Youth model Remington 870 and 3" #5s for the 8 year old. If the 10 year old gets out she will be using my Remington 11-87 with 3" #6s. Spring sports and turkey hunting...kids should not have to choose ;).

My 9 year-old boy shoots a Winchester .20 gauge model 370. Break action, single shot. It's perfect. 3" shells w/ 6's.  8)

20 ga. H&R single shot.  Very light front end, much easier for the little ones to hold steady.
