Beginners Luck
«

I have never been a shed hunter, sure I look every time I'm out in the woods hunting, setting trail cam, hiking playing but have never gone out to just hunt sheds till today. I have only found 2 sheds before today both were several years old and in poor shape. Both were small bucks. Yesterday I was talking to a friend that goes out and hunts said he found a 3 point buck right side. This morning I got my two boys up at the crack and headed out well before Mom woke up and found us gone.. We hadn't gone more than a 1/2 mile in when we ran into these.. They had a very heavy string tangled all up in them down by the base. The string was very old but was strong enough to pull off the second antler when the first one fell.. Tell me that's not beginners luck on our first try..JAMNG

Nice find! In all my endeavors I have yet to find a set.

Nice! Would have been cool to see a pic of them with the string on them still.

Nice...love the dark rosie antlers. Also, love to see the side arm, glad you're not shy about posting that pic. It's our damned right. Way to exercise it!
