I thought I'd start a games thread. Though it would be interesting to read what others do for fun besides just shooting a spot on the target or 3d.
My hunting partner and I play tic-tac-toe with a twist.

With a block style target use masking or painters tape to make the board. Obviously the better you are the smaller the squares need to be. We use about 2" squares @ 20 yards. You need chips or money we usually use 10 1$'s 5ea. You can use anything doesnt really matter, all the chips go into a pool just set aside.

Each person shoots three arrows at their chosen square. All three arrows must be in the square. If even one arrow touches the tape the shooter has to pull his arrows. The next shooter can shoot at any open square. If a shooter wins a square then the arrows stay to show that the square closed. Who ever wins the first round gets a chip.
Chips or dollars are awarded to the round winner. Chips can be used to buy shots. For example if I get two arrows in but miss with one. I can give a chip to the other player and my arrow will stay in that square. The person to aquire all ten chips is the winner and gets to buy the beer with the chips.:)

Hmmmm, We used to play basket ball that way.  We would play 21 and the winner had to sit out and drink a beer.  It evened things out a bit  :chuckle: :chuckle:

every once in awhile we play a game. you get a bunch of guys together say you have 3 shooters the first shoots at a whole clay pigeion then if it is broke the biggest peice left if put back up and the other 2 shooters get to shoot at it and if the second shooter hits it then they get 1 point if they miss they get 0 then the next shooter shoots and if he gets it he, gets 2 points and 0 for a miss and if both miss the target then the first shooter gets 3 points. you just pick a number to play till to get the winner we play for $ sometimes. if the first shooter misses the target then it just stays whole and makes it easier for the next shooter so the goal is to hit it to wear it breaks into the most smallest peices that way it is harder for the next person to shoot the smaller chip and you just rotate threw it.

take two pulleys and rope. tie one end to your... ummm. milk jug of water. run the rope through the two pulleys to anothe milkd jug. hang the infront of your back stop. so the jugs are equal distance from the ground. grab a friend, u and your friend get as many shots as possible in thirty seconds. the person whos jug hits the ground looses, but realy wins. because the loosing prize is a swift kick in the nuts. who doesnt love one of those  :chuckle:
