OFFICIAL RESULTS
« on: April 07, 2010, 04:38:49 PM »
Just called the WDFW and they said I was selected for Deer and it was official.

:IBCOOL:  Now I have to buy a muzzle loader :bash:

One intersting thing the guy told me was they overselected the permits for elk and deer.

2500 permits selected for 2000 tags for deer
850 permits selected for 600 tags for elk

Nice!!! Last year they had I think 3 draws to sell all the tags.

My speculation follows!!!!!!!

This year they overdraw to try and sell what they want to, and watch, they will oversell!!

Nice, how do you think they'll be able to handle the new system for all the draws?

In an age of computers and such, you'd like to believe the State officials xould at least count!   :yike:

Oh, that's right it's the State Officials. :dunno:

That was the problem last year.  People were selected but didn't buy the tags (probably PETA) thus lost revenue for the state.

Here is the kicker.  If you are selected and miss out on buying the tag on a first come first serve basis, you lose your perference points.

Yeah, but is it "first come first served"? Last year if you were drawn you had a window of time to purchase, then you lost out and they did a redraw. They havent said much about details yet this year. Just like always the regs are slow to come.

I stand corrected, looks like first-come, first served is it!

Q. What if I am drawn, but decide not to purchase the permit?

A. Successful applicants will be allowed to purchase the permit on a first-come, first-served basis. The multiple-season permit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Nothing for me. I did talk to the WDFW this morning and asked how they would fairly give the opportunity to purchase. They told me they are going to set a sale date in the near future to give all that were drawn ample time to receive notice. They will announce the sale date with the success letters and on the web later. It will be a free for all come that date. Good luck to all that were drawn!

If you are an old schooler or know an old schooler that doesn't like buying on the internet, you might want to help him or her figure out how to buy online.  The guy told me that they will pick a date and the buying will start at 12:01 am.

I talked to a gentleman at the dept a lil bit ago and he said the tags should be avail for purchase on the 23rd of this month. and that if you were selected they should be sending a card to tell that.

No redraw.

The over draw is to eliminate the redraws. Better hurry and get one while they last.

So when can we buy our multi-season tag? I didn't see the option come up under the online license site.

so why do you need a mutipul weapon tag? i think its just an excuse too exceed bag limits, just like whats a master hunter? why cant he just be a hunter? whats the advantage a chair next the governer ,all these special opportunities, and special titles, back in the day you just went hunting ,followed the rules and harvested your game, nothing like i need 6 months to get an animal but which weapon do i use how crazy is that,oh yeah i'm a master hunter i can use what ever i want, when i want what A joke, master hunters dont represent me ,i dont know who they represent, probley CHRISTINE,and BARRY OBAMA, but not me, hhhmmmm  not a rant nor rave, just alittle idle time on my hands while i work on my dekes, reload some more ammo, scout my hunting areas,i would change the line on my reel but theres no more steelhead left, hhhmmm ,dont tell me theres a master fisherman licsense tooo :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

How do I exceed the bag limit with a multi season tag? I still get one tag for the entire year.  If I fill it the first day of bow season, my hunt is over.  No modern, no muzzleloader, nothing.

What is your motivation here?  Are you calling us poachers, because we apply for and were drawn for multi-season tags?  Or did I somehow miss-understand what you were trying to say?
