BIPOD Advice...Harris vs Shooters rigde
«
on:
April 10, 2010, 12:36:41 PM »
Hello everyone, I am looking to put a bi-pod on my new Sako and was wondering if anyone knows anything about the shooter's ridge bi-pods? I know the Harris' are nice but they are also more expensive. Any help would be appreciated.

The Harris feels a little sturdier to me, but the Shooters Ridge would work fine for regular hunting use.

aside from harris the only other quality option is the versa pod. the vp is better in some aspects. there is a reason that 99% of bipods you see are harris though. I have one that I bought 20 years ago used......still going strong, aside from having to replace the pivot bolts. I can sell it today for more then paid for it back then.
