I'm about 99.9% sure you didn't see this buck in a GMU with a late whitetail tag  ;)

No, definitely did.

This is the biggest buck I stumbled upon in '09.   I think most have seen this pic, but for those who haven't.......

No, definitely didn't.  Before even 2006 that buck was pushing daisies.   :)

I think he has a "local name"  doesn't he?   Been some question about some of his genetics floating around.

As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Knew I had seen that buck before but it has been awhile so I wasn't sure. Did anyone ever tag that beast or did he just die of old age? COOL deer, I was never luck enough to get any pics of him. Of course back then I never packed a camera. What did his sheds score?

Also referred to as the  "Horse Lake buck".  Last time I saw him he had a pretty bad hitch in his giddy up.  Been a few years ago.:(

+1.  Either fall 2005 or 2006, can't recall for sure.  Never heard of anyone finding his last antlers, or carcass.  A few rumors he was poached by natives, but no evidence (this would be poaching if true because he was not typically on "open and unclaimed" lands, mostly was on private). A few rumors he was poached by a local/Coastie/pick your own favorite suspect!
