Successful here too.  Looks like a lot of HuntWa members are headed to MT.  Going to try and hunt the rut this year.

But I'm the only one of 4 in my party that got drawn so that sucks but they'll be able to wack a few does at least..

Do you apply online or via paper?  That sounds to me like you either added some folks to your group that didn't have any points or you filled out your application incorrectly.  Sorry that didn't work out for you.

There are about five times as many applicants as there are deer combo licenses.  There are twice as many applicants as there are deer/elk combo licenses.   The odds of drawing are dependent on the number of bonus points an applicant has, and the average number of bonus points for all applicants.  If there were no bonus points or everyone had the same number, the odds of drawing the deer combo would be about 20 percent.

I applied via the old paper way and slug mail,  also I applied with my hunting buddy which we both have four points each. I guess it was just bad luck of the draw. :bash:

Other guys here at work that applied.
1 drew the going home deer combo.
2 others were not drawn with 0 points.

Did you apply for the combo or just a deer or just elk tag?

We applied for nonresident deer. I guess the next move is to put in for alternate and maybe antelope ?  I hope we have better luck next time. :rolleyes:
