if you get on private land you should do OK. There is a great guide over there in Tonasket (his office is in Omak). His name is Richard Caryl. He guided me to my first bird 4 years ago.

LOTS of pressure, but there are birds.  Private land would be the best.

They are pretty easy to find in October-January  :chuckle:. I have never seen one during turkey season. Someday soon I hope to have them frequenting our place though. If you have birds and private land you really upped your odds a lot. Have a great hunt.

There are plenty of birds but good luck on state land unless someone shares their honey hole. Private land is your best bet.  A lot of locals feed them and which pulls them off of the state lands. I hunt both state and private. You will have to get out of Omak to find birds.  If you can get permisson Oroville is a good place to start.  The numbers seem to be pretty good this year from what I have seen.
Will hunt for food.
