a few elk sheds
« on: April 14, 2010, 07:44:33 PM »
Went for a hike by the house with dogs. Kicked up quite a few huns and grouse. A good sign! Hopefully a good year for birds. Saw a few coyotes deer adn elk. A nice walk and am happy Spring is finally here.
Found a few rag horn elk sheds and saw a spike elk that didn't make it. Left it in the field.

Still hoping to find a 7 pt shed .  Great weather for a hike though. Found the carcasses of 2 elk and 4 deer I think that were killed by yotes or maybe a cat. Can coyotes take down an healthy adult elk?

Nice 8)
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
