Elk European #2 (MN Taxidermy)
« on: April 14, 2010, 04:16:54 PM »
Here is another Elk European getting ready to leave the shop.  Mounted on an Oak Oval panel.  He is a site member.  Not sure of the score.

Here are a couple close ups of inside the nose and up inside the sinus area.

Looks good, Michelle.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

How long are the screws you are using to mount to plaque to skull? Did you belt sand the back or make your own cutt???
