My only experience is Umtannum and 2 to 3 miles is all the farther you can get from a road.

Glad you started this tread. I've been buying points and will probably be for a while with this draw system, but I considered putting in for teiton. I don't hear much talk about it but that could be good or bad. However, if I could win the lotto with a raffle tag, I would probably do more homework of that area. I haven't seen the area yet, but the map says it's rough.

Sun river herd in montana give you good options on hunting style. for me two miles with a ram on my pack is plenty .
