Harts lake in Roy???

Wow, good for them for even fishing it. Last time I fished that lake it took me 5 washes to get the slime off of my boat. Will never fish that thing again, to much runoff of cow poop from the farm.

I fished there a lot as a kid, we caught trips in there up to 13lbs -in the fall/ winter. Summer fishing sucks for trout, too warm for them. You will get some very light nibbles, but even if you land one it tastes like mud. Would be a good lake to stock mostly browns.

how do you rig up your baits???....I usually just put a sinker about 12-18 inches above a hook...do you you guys use treble hooks or single shanks??? also what is a good size? ...I have a pretty decent spot for some bullheads and was just wondering what to do to optimize my setup

he is right liver works Great theres a bunch of little secrets. i use single hooks. trebble hooks rip up the cats to much. some times they get it far down there throat. everyone says harts lake is dirty but its not really what they make it out to be. its getting allot cleaner.

good point on the treble hooks going down the throat...its hard enough getting them out when its a single hook...
