i carry an old tang safety m77 338wm, runs 215 sierra game kings, knocks em all flat from grouse to elk. i would say in my humble opinion that the most well rounded cartridge is the 30/06 especially in the old days when they still made accelerators(i still have a couple boxes of those)
Antlered rabbit tastes like chicken

A 260gr Accubond out of my 375 Ruger. I can't think of anything around here that it wouldn't put some hurt on. :chuckle:

I would call up the 3006 in 165 grain partitions or Accubonds at around 3000fps.  Working on a 270 WSM with 150 grain bullets that will pick up the majority of my future hunting plans. :twocents:

30-06, 180gr Swift A-frame or Nosler Accubond over H4350.  Both loads shoot good out of my Rem 700 and Tikka T3 Lite.

Ruger m77 MKII in 7mm Mag. 154 grn Hornady Innerbond over 63 grns of IMR4831. Not only knocks them flat every time but I don't think that since i've fine tuned that load that I've ever had a group looser than 1/2" regardless of the yardage. Its just a plain old tack driver
I hunt, therefore I am.... I fish, therefore I lie.
