Brought Maggy Out of Retirement
«
on:
April 19, 2010, 01:47:56 PM »
I drew a spring permit and decided to bring out my old faithful 7mm. Shes been retired the last 2 years while I broke in my Tikka. Damn near forgot how heavy she was
She has been with me for 27 years. I think she looks good for her age
Hope we can take another bear together this year. Mark

Is that a Weatherby? Doesn't look like the Weatherby safety. And a different recoil pad.

yeah i am pretty sure it is a weatherby it is a older one they switched the safety from the older style to the one they use today, allot of the older weatherbys have the diffrent color foregrip of the rifle like that one does with the light colored line seperating the light from darker wood. that is why i guessed weatherby also the monte carlo on that stock has the angels of a weatherby which i love them high like that. wish i could transplant it onto my remingtons

It is a Vangaurd of old. All original except I took the high gloss finish off years ago and had it reblued in matte black. I love the gun however it is at least 3lbs heavier than my Tikka
