Have been hearing the grouse drumming every morning by my house. Dog runs down to the tree they are drumming in and points.

Nice sign that Spring has arived

Those are some great pictures. I hope our conditions stay good for all the birds species this year. Our populations need a good boost after the last couple years. Thank you for sharing.

Have been running into lots of huns, chukars, grouse on my hikes this Spring. Pretty mild Winter and Spring thus far.
Let's hope for a good year. :)

I dont see anywhere near the amount of blue grouse now days compaired to when i young teen. great pics!

Great pics Wea... Me and my dad were out this weekend and found a ruffed grouse nest.  It had 10 eggs in it and was cool to see!  Eggs were a lot bigger than I would have thought.  She scared the crap out of us when we about stepped on her!
